STRATZ Hero Guides are curated using data from the most recent high-level performances by elite players around the world. For every hero, we offer multiple guide variations based on real match outcomes, showcasing optimized skill builds, item progressions, and strategic adjustments. Each guide explains how players adapted to in-game situations to achieve exceptional results, providing actionable insights for players looking to improve their Dota 2 gameplay.
In addition to our curated selection of top-tier guides, STRATZ also makes Hero Guides available for every player in every recent public match. On each Match page, within the Focus section, users can explore real match builds, item timings, ability choices, and performance breakdowns — delivering a complete, data-driven learning experience for every skill level.
Matches
Since the release of Dota 2 in 2013, billions of public matches have been played worldwide — and STRATZ has parsed, processed, and stored detailed statistics for all of them. This massive dataset forms the foundation of our advanced Dota 2 analytics platform, powering in-depth statistics, performance tracking, and machine learning models that enhance every feature across the site.
Our Match pages provide an expanded and data-rich version of the in-game post-match Overview and Scoreboard. Users can explore complete hero builds, item timings, farm and gold breakdowns, damage distribution, ward placement, and many additional performance metrics. With our interactive Playback tool, matches can be replayed through a simplified visual timeline, delivering real-time statistical updates and comprehensive hero insights throughout the game.
We have also developed a proprietary performance rating called Individual Match Performance (IMP). This metric ranges from -100 to +100 and measures each player’s contribution to their team’s win probability using advanced statistical modeling. IMP is displayed for every player in every recent match and powers our automated match awards system, including MVP, Top Core, and Top Support — providing objective recognition based on data-driven performance analysis.
STRATZ+
STRATZ+ is an AI-powered real-time Dota 2 draft assistant designed to provide advanced predictive insights during the hero selection phase. Once installed and launched, STRATZ+ automatically detects all players in every draft you enter — whether you are actively playing or spectating — and instantly analyzes team compositions, player performance history, and meta trends.
Powered by machine learning and continuously trained neural networks, STRATZ+ has demonstrated the ability to accurately predict match outcomes in at least two out of every three games. Guilds
Guilds, introduced during the 2020 Battle Pass, have become an essential part of the Dota 2 ecosystem. Due to their growing importance and competitive impact, STRATZ provides a comprehensive Guild profile for every public Guild in the game. Each profile includes detailed player rosters, match history, performance statistics, and activity insights, allowing users to track Guild progress and analyze team dynamics.
In addition, STRATZ features server-based Guild leaderboards that rank teams by performance and track changes in leaderboard positions from week to week. These rankings make it easier to discover active, high-performing Guilds and find the right community to join based on competitive level and regional server activity.
STRATZ API
The STRATZ API is a powerful and developer-focused Dota 2 data platform designed to provide fast, reliable, and deeply structured esports statistics. Built for analysts, developers, researchers, and competitive teams, our API delivers comprehensive access to global match data, player performance metrics, hero statistics, and advanced analytics — all available free of charge.
We have migrated from a traditional REST architecture to a modern GraphQL API, enabling more flexible queries, improved performance, and highly efficient data retrieval. This allows developers to request exactly the fields they need, reduce overhead, and build scalable applications powered by real-time Dota 2 statistics.
By leveraging SkadiStats’ Clarity replay parser alongside our proprietary in-house parsing systems and advanced analytics engines, the STRATZ API provides both raw match data and enriched datasets. These include custom performance metrics, predictive analytics outputs, structured replay insights, and machine learning–enhanced statistics — making it one of the most complete esports data APIs available today.

Special Events
Dota 2 is famous for its seasonal events and limited-time game modes, which are often launched without advance notice and introduce entirely new mechanics, heroes, and objectives. Each time a special event goes live, STRATZ rapidly adapts to deliver detailed event analytics, match statistics, and data-driven insights tailored specifically to that game mode.
For example, during Aghanim’s Labyrinth, we developed a comprehensive analytics hub featuring replay parsing, full match history tracking, event-specific leaderboards, hero composition statistics, room win rates, pick rates by difficulty level, and advanced performance breakdowns. We later expanded our support to include Diretide match pages, optimized builds, meta analysis, player-specific event history, and additional competitive insights.
